Hotelito Desconocido is located 60 miles south of Puerto Vallarta, and 3 miles from Cruz de Loreto, along the Costa Alegre in Jalisco, Mexico. This singular hotel uses solar energy only for the energy needs of the hotel. At night, hundreds of candles light the rooms and restaurant. Luminaries light the pathways that meander throughout the resort.

This uncommon resort has been constructed in the style of an old Mexican fishing village. Accommodations are in 'Palafitos', bungalows of indigenous construction, built on stilts over the edge of the estuary that surrounds the main group of structures. Traditional Mexican kitchen is offered in our two featuring oceanview restaurants. A variety of Mexican specialties are prepared with the finest ingredients.
