About Price-Travel
Price-Travel started in 2000 in the Mexican resort destination Cancun. Our team hails from Mexico, Argentina, Austria, Germany and the United States, bringing over 60 years of internet travel, tourism and hotel sales experience to PriceTravel.
Our predecessor, Travel-Center, was the first online travel agency in Mexico to sign contracts with major hotel chains including Occidental Resorts, Camino Real Hotels and Riu Hotels. We added airline ticket sales and ground transfers to our product offerings in 2002. In December 2008 we tripled the size of our call center. In 2009 we reached agreements with Interjet, Aeromexico and Mexicana to provide our clients with specially negotiated rates. We also opened offices in Acapulco and Puerto Vallartra.
The majority of the technology used at Price-Travel is developed by our team and we are always enhancing every aspect of Price-Travel.com. Many of our improvements come directly from our customer comments and suggestions.
